Trademate effectiveness


I started the day with normal routine of checking emails and replying to the buyers. Some buyers asked for the prices so I gave them to the member and others who asked for product details, I have sent them the email with details and product brochures. Then I had a little conversation with my member. As I was chatting with the member I received a pop up message from TradeMate that a buyer from Qatar is looking at our products so I immediately started a chat with him. He was a potential buyer who wants diesel fuel dispenser supplier as well as fuel management system. I got his contact details and send an email with all the details he asked for.

After that I opened up social networking pages of my member where I also received messages from buyers whom I replied with greetings. During this period I received another message from TradeMate that a buyer from Pakistan is currently viewing our products. I had a good conversation with him and he told me that he needs 8 to 10 fueling trucks with 2000 liters of capacity. I gave him the prices and he will let us know after discussing the prices with his general manager.

After that I called 2 buyers and sent email to others whose numbers were not available or either not responding. I also searched for buyer directories of different countries to find for distributors of fuel dispenser and equipments.

Busy day!


The day was started with chatting with my member about the Trade shows which are going to be held in Kenya and Pakistan related the retail petroleum in industry in March and April. I told her about the arrangement of the booths/stalls for the member so that she can participate with complete preparation. Then we had a communication about social networking company pages and shared related knowledge.

During the conversation I checked the inbox and send emails to the buyers who asked for details and product catalog. Then I checked social networking pages and added new connections related to the industry. I also send welcome messages to the buyers who have accepted the connection request so that we can build up a communication and it might be possible they become our potential client in the near future.

After checking I called a Pakistani trading company where I talked to Mr. Nisar. He was looking interested in our products after knowing that we are the leading diesel fuel dispenser supplier and requested me to send product catalog. Then I talked to a Bangladeshi buyer who wants to buy several fuel storage tanks from us. I have connected him with me member’s assistant and he will convey all the details to him. Then I wrote daily report blog to post it on a website.

Last day of the week


Today is the last day of the week and you can judge it with everyone’s mood.
I started the day by checking emails from the buyers, where I found the reply from an Algeria buyer who said that our products are excellent and he is interested to represent us. And for that purpose he needs a recommendation letter from our company so that he can arrange a meeting with the 2 biggest oil companies there and pitch the idea where he has some good contacts. I replied and asked him to send his company details so that we can access and precede this business relationship further where it can be beneficial for both the parties involved. As we are the leading diesel fuel dispenser supplier so he is very glad to communicate with us.

After that I replied to some other buyers and then I called a Malaysian buyer who has sent his inquiry for the motor oil dispenser pump. But he was driving at that time and requested me to call tomorrow. Then I moved to social networking pages of our company where I update them with the latest market trends and pictures of our dispensers and other equipments. Then I called another buyer who asked for the details which I have sent to him.

Then I send email to the buyers whose phone numbers were not available or they were not responding at that time. Then I designed a banner for SEM to place it on different websites so that we can increase our brand image and visibility in the digital world. Other important activities were performed as well for the member.

Beginning of the new year!



I started the day by checking emails and the inbox of the inquiries. After that I opened the social networking pages of the company and looked at the updates and the inquiries of the buyers. There I added some new connections and groups related to the industry. As we are the leading diesel fuel dispenser supplier people within the same industry likes to connect with us to get new updates and market trends of fuel dispensers and retail petroleum industry.

After that I called Mr. Zahid Sarwar who lives in Pakistan to confirm whether he received the email and invoice or not. He said that he has not checked it yet and will check it by evening. I had a long conversation with him and he told me that he is very interested in becoming our distributor in Pakistan. Initially he will do the distribution in the Punjab region and then gradually he will enter in other provinces like Sindh, Khyber-Paktoonkhwa and Balochistan. I asked him to send his company details and other documents necessary so that we can access the ability of the company. He said he will reply us soon.

Then I started searching on Google to find out some big importers in different countries. I found few of them and tried to call but mostly the persons were not available due to Christmas and New Year holidays. I also sent introductory emails to those whose number was not available or not responding. I also made the monthly report of the work which I have done in the month of December.
